 María Claudia Parias DuránDirector General A cultural leader with a strong academic background in Social Communication and Journalism as well as in Cultural Management. Since 2024 she has served as Director General of the Arts Institute of Bogotá (Idartes). From 2014 to 2024, she served as Executive President of the Fundación Nacional Batuta. Her career includes key leadership positions in Colombia’s cultural sector, such as Director of Regional Promotion at the Ministry of Culture, General Manager of the Bogota Philharmonic Orchestra, and Director of Cultural Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She has also contributed to the field as a member of various national and international cultural boards and committees, including the governing bodies of ISPA, the International Music Council, IMC, and the Global Leaders Program, GLI.
