![]() Sasha ZahraCreative Producer A University of Adelaide graduate - BA (Drama Studies), Sasha has over 25 years’ experience as a Director, Creative Producer, Programmer, Festival Producer, Theatre Maker, Facilitator & Board Member both in Australia and internationally. Previously Artistic Director of D’Faces of Youth Arts (Whyalla), Kurrruru Youth Performing Arts and Associate Artistic Director of Come Out Festival (DreamBig), Sasha was Creative Producer of Adelaide Fringe (2009-2014), co-program director Royal Croquet Club Adelaide (2015-2018), co-director Stirling Fringe (2017, 2018, 2019). Since 2004 Sasha has worked with Vanuatu’s Wan Smolbag Theatre including producing & co-programming three international theatre festivals (2009, 2014 & 2019). Sasha was Executive Producer of the Opening & Closing Ceremonies for the Mini Pacific Games (Vanuatu, Dec 2017) and directed numerous shows for Adelaide Cabaret Festival (2018-2021) and Amphibian for Windmill Theatre (2018 & 2021). In Thursday Island (Torres Strait) Sasha produced Mura Kosker Sorority’s regional women’s gathering & conference (Nov 2018), The Remote Indigenous Media Festival & Torres Strait Performing Arts Festival (Sep 2019), was Creative Producer at Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute (October 2019 – March 2021), Associate Director for Windmill Theatre (April 2021 – Sept 2022) and commenced her current role as Patch Theatre’s Creative Producer in Sept 2022.
