Pitch New Works sessionISPA is happy to announce that the application process for Pitch New Works is officially open. Prospective projects should be in development with plans to premiere in the next two years, or have recently premiered but not yet toured outside of their respective region. Submissions from the canon and/or remounts will be considered where there is evidence of a substantially new interpretation and/or a new production team.

Applications will be accepted through September 30th, 2014 at 18:00 EDT, and applicants will be notified about their project status by Monday, November 10th. The ten selected participants will pitch their new works on Wednesday, January 14th, 2015 at the Times Center in New York City. Past program participants have secured additional project support, representation, touring opportunities, performance engagements, international exposure, and more.

This year ISPA will be partnering with CulturePath, a new online curated platform that assists creators and presenters in showcasing projects, attracting partners, and achieving greater impact. CulturePath plans to launch in the fall of 2014. Selected projects at the New York 2015 Congress will have their work featured as part of this new site.
