"The Ministry of Culture and all Colombians in general must work to establish a comprehensive and unifying vision that recognizes the contribution of individuals to value and protect our cultural heritage," said Alberto Escovar Wilson-White, director of Heritage at the Ministry of Culture.

The VI National Meeting of Heritage, held in Bogotá between 9 and 11 September, took place in the St. George Theatre that between the 1940s and 1960s was one of the most important buildings in the Colombian capital and which is currently in ruins. "The meeting is the perfect excuse to give life back to this place which is very important for the memory of the citizen," says Escovar.
