Registration Now Open for New York 2017 ISPA Congress

Tuesday, September 6, 2016   (0 Comments)

On behalf of our Co-Chairs, Alicia Adams and Jude Kelly, we are delighted to officially launch the New York 2017 ISPA Congress, Currents of Change: Arts, Power + Politics. Under their leadership, the 2017 Planning Committee has thought long and hard about bringing you a dialogue that would be relevant and timely. The global landscape is changing more quickly and to a greater degree than ever before. There is a sweeping sense of powerlessness and alienation. Disparities in equality, perceived identities, and the global realities of climate change, migration and terrorism are often overwhelming. Is it enough to reflect conversation or do cultural institutions need to engage their power and act in a more meaningful way? Join us as we explore in and through the arts the realities and the opportunities of an ever changing society.

But, that’s not all!

We are delighted to be returning to one of New York’s most storied venues, the historic and iconic Harlem's World Famous Apollo Theater! Of course, no ISPA Congress would be complete without our beloved Times Center as well as two of our favorite party haunts meeting spaces – the Bryant Park Grill and 230 Fifth.

If you register before October 28th, you will save up to 15% off the regular registration rate!

Important Dates

Join us in 2017 as we count down to our 100th Congress and 10th anniversary of ISPA’s Fellowship Program!
