The Nordic-Baltic festivals' Conference of 2016 Brings Together Arts Leaders from the Region

The second edition of the NordicBaltic Festival Platform (NBFP) is taking place in Vilnius, Lithuania, November 3-4, 2016. The conference aims to bring together managers and
artistic directors of festivals as well as other arts professionals to exchange ideas and best
practices, make new connections and explore various possibilities for cooperation.

The conference will include:

  • speeches by central figures in the Nordic-Baltic culture scene,
  • discussions on how to attract people in the region to festivals, how to program a Nordic-Baltic festival and how to use city space better in festivals,
  • networking sessions for participants,
  • presentations of positive examples of Nordic-Baltic collaborations,
  • open discussions for sharing festival cooperation experiences,
  • presentations of funding possibilities,
  • 5 project presentations from the region's festivals seeking new partnerships.
