ArtsHacker, an online publishing platform targeting arts administrators as a core audience group, released survey results that uncovers the factors the impact the decision to for arts managers to change jobs. Below are the top five reasons that arts managers left their current position based on its survey analysis:

  1. Concerned about the lack of opportunities for advancement
  2. Unsatisfied with the leadership of administrative and/or artistic leadership
  3. Unsatisfied with the work environment and/or culture
  4. Wanted more challenging work
