Sunday, October 6, 2019   (0 Comments)

Arts Council England and Disability Arts Online have published a digital resource that helps to create a more accessible work environment. It provides grants to remove barriers that disabled people face in undertaking paid employment.

The digital guide, which is available in different formats including easy read and audio only, provides specific advice for the arts and cultural sector in navigating the Access to Work system, which is England's Department for Work and Pensions’ employment support program, designed to offer grants for people with disabilities which will help them overcome barriers they face while in paid employment. Disability Arts Online has written this guide to interpret the Access to Work rules and official guidance with specific advice for the arts and cultural sector.
