23 Arts Groups Unite to Give $5,000 to 100 Artists Every Week

The presidents of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and Arison Arts Foundation explain why they created a $10 million relief fund, with the goal of giving $5,000 to 100 artists every week until September. “It’s (the coronavirus crisis) also attacking the people who connect us to our humanity: our artists.”
