Announcing New York 2022 ISPA Congress Pitch New Works Projects

New York, NY, USA (November 19, 2021) – The International Society for the Performing Arts (ISPA) is delighted to announce the selected Pitch New Works projects that will be presented at the New York 2022 ISPA Congress, Opportunity of Now.
These nine projects represent a diverse mix of genres and disciplines and are an exciting reflection of the new works in development across the globe. ISPA will be welcoming back Anthony Sargent CBE, International Advisor and Consultant, to host the session. The projects include:

The Pitch New Works projects were selected from a pool of 63 applications by ISPA’s Pitch New Works Committee. The committee is chaired by Hanako Yamaguchi, previously Director, Music Programming, at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Also serving on the committee were Reem Allam, Executive Manager & Artistic Programmer, Arab Arts Focus / D-CAF Festival; David Baile, CEO, ISPA; Jonathan Holloway, International Artistic Advisor; and Jochem Valkenburg, Programming Director Music and Music Theatre, Holland Festival.
Delegates attending the upcoming New York 2022 ISPA Congress can catch these remarkable projects at the Pitch New Works session. The session will be:
- Broadcast online through the congress online platform on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 am EST
- Presented live in New York at the Brooklyn Academy of Music on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon EST. Immediately following the session in New York, delegates will further have an opportunity to meet the presenters at ISPA’s ProEx (Professional Exchange).
