Announcing Hong Kong 2022 ISPA Congress Pitch New Works Projects

New York, NY, USA (April 27, 2022) – The International Society for the Performing Arts (ISPA) is delighted to announce the selected Pitch New Works projects that will be presented at the Hong Kong 2022 ISPA Congress, To Connect Beyond

These ten projects represent a broad spectrum of genres and disciplines and are an exciting reflection of the new works in development in Hong Kong, the surrounding region and across the globe. ISPA will be welcoming back Anthony Sargent CBE, International Advisor and Consultant, to host the session. The projects include:

Pitch Projects for Hong Kong 2022 ISPA Congress Pitch New Works

The Pitch New Works projects were selected from a pool of 60 applications by ISPA’s Pitch New Works Committee. The committee is chaired by Hanako Yamaguchi, Independent Arts Consultant and former Director of Music Programming at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Also serving on the committee were Reem Allam, Executive Manager & Artistic Programmer, Arab Arts Focus / D-CAF Festival; David Baile, CEO, ISPA; Jochem Valkenburg, Programming Director of Music and Music Theatre, Holland Festival; and Jonathan Holloway, International Artistic Advisor.

Delegates attending the upcoming Hong Kong 2022 ISPA Congress can catch these remarkable projects at the Pitch New Works session. The session will be:

  • Broadcast online through the congress online platform on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 22:15 – 24:15 EDT
  • Broadcast online through the congress online platform on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 10:30 – 12:30 EDT
