ISPA to Receive $20,000 Grant
from the National Endowment for the Arts
New York, NY, USA (June 10, 2022) – The International Society for the Performing Arts (ISPA) has been approved for a $20,000 award to support to support ISPA’s annual congress in New York City in 2023. ISPA’s project is among 1,125 projects across America totaling more than $26.6 million that were selected during this second round of Grants for Arts Projects fiscal year 2022 funding.
“The National Endowment for the Arts is proud to support arts and cultural organizations throughout the nation with these grants, including ISPA, providing opportunities for all of us to live artful lives,” said NEA Chair Maria Rosario Jackson, PhD. “The arts contribute to our individual well-being, the well-being of our communities, and to our local economies. The arts are also crucial to helping us make sense of our circumstances from different perspectives as we emerge from the pandemic and plan for a shared new normal informed by our examined experience.”
ISPA CEO, David Baile commented “We are delighted of this show of support for international events, particularly at this time of limited international cooperation. The NEA is a key funder in the United States and we acknowledge and thank them for their ongoing funding.”
ISPA’s 2023 congress in New York will be held from January 10-12, 2023 in a variety of venues around the city. We anticipate an in-person event followed by digital broadcast.
