FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Registration Now Open for New York 2023 ISPA Congress

Urgency of Now

January 10 – 12, 2023

New York, NY, USA (September 19, 2022) – Registration is now open for the New York 2023 ISPA Congress, Urgency of Now. Representing different genres and disciplines within the performing arts field, more than 400 delegates from around the world are expected to attend in-person

Congress Theme: Urgency of Now

In 2022, we explored the “opportunity” of now. We came together to discuss issues ranging from equity to climate change and to envision a new future. One year later, “urgency” is the watchword. As the performing arts sector reopens, has there been tangible action on the pressing needs we identified? How do we meet the challenges of the present moment and uphold our commitments to change? In 2023, we will explore what we have accomplished to date and, perhaps more urgently, what still needs to be done.

“Under the leadership of co-chairs, Cultural Management Consultant Pamela Lopez and Govin Ruben of TerryandtheCuz, the 2023 Planning Committee thoughtfully offers a dialogue that is relevant and timely given the current global environment.” said CEO David Baile.

The Congress theme will be explored through a variety of sub-topics presented in various formats ensuring a highly interactive discussion. Popular programs including Pitch New Works and ProEx (Professional Exchange) will once again be held. The Congress will unfold for the first time at The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College on New York’s Upper East Side.

Online registration is open through January 4th.
