The £1.8 million Festival Expo Fund will be divided among 14 cultural events in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Since its inception in 2007, over £30 million has been distributed through Creative Scotland by the government. The Expo Fund was initially designed to boost Edinburgh’s major cultural events but it has expanded to include Glasgow International, Glasgow Film Festival, and Sonica.
