ISPA Award Recipient Elisa Carrillo Cabrera2019 Distinguished Artist Award Recipient Elisa Carrillo Cabrera is the Prima ballerina of the Berlin State Ballet. Born in Texcoco, State of Mexico. Her formation as a professional dancer began on the National Classic and Contemporary Dance School of the National Institution of Arts and Literature of México (INBAL) and then on the English National Ballet School in England. She has a degree as teacher of Ballet given by the Ministry of culture from the German Republic and the John Cranko Schule Stuttgart in Germany. She is also the Ambassador of Mexican Culture, designated by the National Council for the Culture and the Arts (Conaculta) and the Mexican congress.
