 Benedikt FohrChief Executive Benedikt Fohr has been the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HK Phil) since April 2019. Before joining the HK Phil, he was the Orchestra Manager of the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Saarbrücken (2006), which he merged in 2007 with the Rundfunkorchester Kaiserslautern to become the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie Saarbrücken Kaiserslautern. He was highly regarded for his long-term commitment to this orchestra from 2007 to 2019. Previously, he was the General Director of the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra (2001 - 2006), Secretary General of the Camerata Salzburg (1996-2001) and Managing Director of the Ensemble Recherche, Freiburg (1989 - 1996). He was educated in Germany and holds an MBA from the University of Mannheim. Speaker |
