Stephanie Jenke

Stephanie Jenke

Managing Director
Gasteig München GmbH
Germany

Stephanie Jenke studied law in Munich and Paris. Following her legal clerkship in Munich with a stint at the German Consulate General in New York, she joined the management of the Gasteig, Europe’s largest arts and education centre, as a personal consultant to the management in 2000. From 2018, she was the company’s legal advisor and Gasteig authorised signatory, in which role she has been instrumental in shaping the change processes within both the organisation and the arts centre itself, including the preparations for the building’s general refurbishment and the move to the interim premises. In 2023, Stephanie Jenke took over the management of the Gasteig.

Her experience, passion for the arts and leadership make her a central figure in Munich’s cultural landscape. Her aim is to arouse curiosity, to instil in people an enthusiasm for the arts through inspiring and networking formats and to create a democratic place from which everyone can benefit. Stephanie Jenke has been a member of the International Society for the Performing Arts (ISPA) since 2000.
