Carolyn Warren is Director General of Arts Granting Programs at the Canada Council for the Arts, Canada's national public arts funder, overseeing programs and strategic initiatives that foster and promote the creation, distribution and promotion of Canadian art both across the country and internationally. Carolyn's career spans the arts and creative industries. Previous to her current position, Carolyn was Vice-President of Arts at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity and before that, held several positions at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) based in Montreal, including Manager of Cultural Programming and Executive Producer of programs and initiatives for radio, tv and online. Carolyn Warren believes strongly in partnerships within and beyond the arts sector and is committed to supporting artists and arts organizations in adapting to changing digital realities both for the production and distribution of creative work.
