 Emmanuelle de VaraxDirector of Producing and Touring
After working at the Théâtre de la Ville, and the Théâtre National de l’Odéon in Paris, and the festivals of Avignon and Aix en Provence, Emmanuelle de Varax went on to Next Wave Festival at BAM in New York before moving to London where she took part in the East Goes West Festival at the Gate Theatre. In parallel, she co-founded a theatre company as producer with stage director Paul Desveaux, was also producer for stage director Arthur Nauzyciel, and toured in Europe, Asia and South and North America . She then joined Quaternaire, an international production and touring agency based in Paris before creating Maïa Arts, dedicated to the international development of the projects of the artists Damien Jalet, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Arthur Nauzyciel and Wang Ramirez. She joined Chaillot- Théâtre national de la Danse in Paris in September 2020 as Director of Producing and Touring. Presenter |
