My name is Diana Teresa Gutiérrez Garcia, I hold a formation in Dance Anthropology and Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) and I am a dancer at heart. I find inspiration in artistic tools, local cultural practices, motherhood, movement and technology to create bridges that enable the encounter between people, cultures and visions of life that are usually very different.

In my experience as General Manager of Embodying Reconciliation - Cuerpos para la Reconciliación, a Colombian non-profit organization, what motivates me the most is the possibility to trigger the transformation of negative wounds that have been imprinted in people´s minds and bodies, into positive and creative resources. I feel grateful and moved when I witness how some of our programs or activities enable resilience, self-esteem, and the dignification of people´s human rights in vulnerable situations.
