Design Thinking: New Ideas Today

Inspired by the ever-popular Pitch New Works, this session involves rapid-fire presentations of four new ideas that promise to have a global impact on and for the performing arts.

Why participate?

You are contributing to the development of a global dialogue based on the unique innovations and insights of our ISPA members and congress delegates.

Who should apply?

We are looking for proposals that:

• Introduce a future-focused innovative case study that promises to impact and offer new insights on the performing arts;
• Broadly appeal to a diverse range of disciplines, cultural perspectives, geographic locations, etc;
• Offer in-depth, specific, and inspiring examples that encourage learning, discussion, and future application; and
• You are passionate about!

What is involved if selected?

Four new ideas will be selected to be presented at the Design Thinking: New Ideas Today session at the New York 2023 ISPA Congress, Wednesday, January 11, 2023. Each session is ten minutes in length: a Ted-talk style presentation followed by a Q&A moderated by the session host.
