Merindah Donnelly is a mother, partner and proud First Nations woman descending from Wiradjuri people, living in Meanjin, Queensland as a guest on Turrbul and Yuggera homelands and co-CEO Executive Producer BlakDance. Merindah trained as a ballet dancer and has worked with First Nations choreographers and companies. She transitioned into being a producer fifteen years ago and has since worked in Market Development at Creative Australia, and as producer for major Australian Indigenous performance gatherings including the National Indigenous Theatre Forum 2015 and National Indigenous Dance Forum 2017. Merindah led the global First Nations exchange and showcase at APAM in 2018 and was a founder and co-producer of the First Nations Dialogues Lenapehoking 2019. Merindah is an organiser of Global First Nations market development networks nationally and internationally and recently completed a Masters in Cultural Leadership at NIDA. Merindah is a Sydney Myer fellow and ISPA Australian fellow.
