![]() Natalie KlymVP Strategic Initiatives Natalie Klym is a researcher, writer, convener, and facilitator of multidisciplinary research and innovation initiatives. Her work resides at the unique intersection of technology, art, society, and business, a space that offers rich opportunities for discovery and cross-disciplinary dialogue. This vantage point enables her to bring fresh perspectives to the complexities of AI and its broader implications for the creative world. She has spent the bulk of her career at MIT studying the disruption of the creative industries as a result of digital technologies. Following her tenure at MIT, she spent two years at the Vector Institute for Artificial Intelligence, developing AI training programs for professionals and examining the evolving nature of work across diverse industries. She is currently the VP of Strategic Initiatives at Radium, a cutting-edge generative AI Cloud platform, and the Curator of the Radium AI & Art Residence Program at the University of Toronto's BMO Lab. The residency originated as a response to the reactions of the artistic community both for and against AI. The program fosters dialogue and exploration by bringing artists face-to-face with AI technologies and their creators. It seeks to transcend industry-driven objectives by uncovering new realms of creativity and expression, and empowering artists to shape the future of AI.
