![]() Isaac CasalArtist Director & Founder - Cellist Dr. Isaac Casal is a Panamanian cellist, educator, and cultural leader with an international career spanning performance, higher education, and institutional leadership. As a performer, he has appeared as a soloist, chamber, and orchestral musician across Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas, engaging with classical, Latin American, and world music repertoires. He is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Fundación Sinfonía Concertante de Panamá (FUNSINCOPA), a nonprofit organization that plays an active role in Panama’s cultural ecosystem by promoting artistic excellence, social inclusion, academic exchange, and sustainable cultural development. Through FUNSINCOPA, he founded the Alfredo de Saint Malo International Academic Music Festival (ASMF), one of Central America’s leading classical music platforms and officially recognized by the Panamanian government as a national festival. Under his leadership, the festival combines high-level artistic programming, education initiatives, heritage preservation, and international collaboration. Dr. Casal is currently based in Miami.
