A native of east Tennessee, Brandall C. Jones has devoted his career to uplifting, celebrating, and amplifying the colorful array of artistry that is the hallmark of the storied American South. For six years, he has served as Connectivity Director at Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre Company in Atlanta, Georgia. Recognized as a Southern Cultural Treasure in 2022 by the Ford Foundation and South Arts, True Colors Theatre is Georgia’s premier professional Black theatre. In addition to his work developing and leading programs at True Colors Theatre, Jones advances equitable grant practices as Partner of MJR Partners, regularly serving U.S. Regional Arts Organizations. He has been recognized as Georgia’s inaugural Emerging Leader of Color by South Arts, a Distinguished Leader in the Arts by The Hambidge Center for Creative Arts and Sciences, as well as a Southern United States Fellow of ISPA. Following Theatre studies at Denison University and Stella Adler Conservatory, Jones earned a B.A. in Performing Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and an M.A. in Arts Administration from Goucher College.
