 Kathryn NolanManaging Director/Partner - Theatre Consultancy Americas Kathryn has over a decade of experience as a theatre consultant with Charcoalblue and has been a driving force behind our theatre design practice. Kathryn comes from a background of set design and her work in auditorium design provides her skilled knowledge in distilling and translating a client’s vision into the shape and form of an auditorium. Collaboration is at the center of her practice as a consultant and leader. Since joining Charcoalblue full time in 2016 in London , she has taken on numerous leadership roles on internal projects, as well as world-class performing arts venues of all shapes and sizes. She moved to our growing New York Studio in 2019 and now most recently promoted to Managing Director of the Americans Theatre Consultancy Team in 2024 and a Partner in 2025. Kathryn is the founder of Charcoalblue’ s corporate social responsibility efforts and originated our CSR working group “The Blue Team” in 2017, bringing our outreach work into Charcoalblue’s core values and approach to design and culture.
