Dr. Samuel Wong is a musicologist, arts strategist, and cultural leader whose work bridges musical heritage, innovation, and social impact. He is the Co-Founder and Creative Director of The TENG Company, a 21-year-old Singapore-based arts organisation recognised nationally for pioneering contemporary Chinese music and community-centred programmes. He also leads Samuel Wong Creatives, a consultancy advising festivals, cultural institutions, and creative enterprises across Asia on strategy, identity, and impact.

Samuel holds a PhD in Ethnomusicology from the University of Sheffield and is a graduate of the Oxford Cultural Leaders Programme. His projects include Music for Mindfulness, The Forefathers Project, and Singapore’s train chimes.

A recipient of the Outstanding Young Persons of Singapore Award and Prestige 40 Under 40, he co-authored The TENG Guide to the Chinese Orchestra. Samuel serves on the Advisory Panel of the Singapore International Festival of the Arts and the Singapore Chinese Music Federation Council, contributing to the shaping of Asian arts leadership globally.
