Jo Thomas is an experienced arts leader and creative force.

As CEO of ARTRAGE Jo is leading one of the largest arts and culture organisations in Western Australia which delivers year-round programming including the third largest Fringe Festival on the planet. Hailing most recently from Metro Arts in Brisbane Jo has a prodigious career history as an Artistic Director, CEO, Producer, Telstra Business Woman of the Year and member of the Asian Producers Platform. Under her leadership projects and organisations have also won significant awards including a Sidney Myer Performing Arts Award (2020), a Palliative Care Queensland Award for Innovation in Community and Matilda Theatre Awards for Best New Circus work.

Jo has also worked as a performer in film, television and theatre and toured locally and nationally with her works. She holds a Masters Fine Arts (Cultural Leadership) from NIDA.
