![]() Steinunn RagnarsdóttirCEO and Artistic Director Steinunn Ragnarsdóttir earned her Master’s degree as a pianist from NEC in Boston. She has performed in many international festivals in Europe and in the US. Steinunn is the founder of the Reykholt Music Festival and was the Music Director of Harpa Concert Hall until 2015 when she took on her current position as the Artistic Director and CEO of the Icelandic Opera. She has recorded many albums as a soloist with the Iceland Symphony and performer of chamber music. Her recordings have earned her the Icelandic Music Award for the best classical CD. Steinunn graduated from a three year Fellowship at the DeVos Institute for Arts Management in 2018. She has been a prominent Arts leader for many years and currently sits on the Board of ISPA and is the Chair of the Governance Committee. She is a consultant and appeares frequently as a speaker in various international conferences. Presenter |
