![]() Kim SimpsonStrategist | Curator | Facilitator | Coach Working from her base in Glasgow under the name Blood and Bone, Kim Simpson is an international and fiercely independent strategist, curator, facilitator and coach who works with people, organisations, institutions and networks in the 'connective (t)issues' of arts and culture. Blood and Bone's work could be summed up as "rehumanising" the arts and cultural sector by making links, sharing knowledge, encouraging rest and reflection and bringing together people with different lived experiences and visionary ideas for positive social change and greater equality. Informed and enhanced by her own experience of disability (connective tissue disorder and neurodiversity), Kim has worked locally and globally with Take Me Somewhere, British Council, British Museum, Creative Scotland, Scottish Government, Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society, Edinburgh International Festival, Buzzcut, Unlimited, The Place, Tanz Im August, ONDA, IETM, Clore Leadership, Cryptic, The Work Room, Tramway, Not Going Back To Normal (disabled artists manifesto) and Manifold Avenues (Black artists manifesto). Kim is a 2019 Clore Leadership Fellow, an ISPA Global Fellow 2017 & 2018 and an active member of IETM international performing arts network.
