Zeynep Feriha Demir is a cultural manager passionate about empowering emerging artists in performing arts across the Balkans and Türkiye. Since 2018, she has worked internationally in festival curation and artist development for various festivals and platforms. She is currently completing her Master’s degree on the analsysis of performance theory and human communication patterns as part of her Media and Communication studies.

She is the Co-founder of the Istanbul Fringe International Performing Arts Festival, a dynamic platform for boundary-pushing performance. Zeynep has also served as a program manager for Sziget Festival in Hungary. She is also the Turkish partner for Aerowaves, a hub for dance discovery in Europe.

She is also an associate partner of Moving Balkans: Contemporary Dance Platform of the Balkans, a Creative Europe initiative where she helps curate showcases and workshops throughout the region connecting the region to West Europe.

Driven by a deep commitment to artistic exchange and cross-border collaboration in performing arts, Zeynep continues to create meaningful opportunities for artists via different platforms and organisations.
