Fellowship Participants![]() Nikos Mavrakis Founder & Managing Director / Programming Director / Co-Curator Nikos Mavrakis has been active in cultural management since 2014 and international relations since 2019. He is the founder and managing director of TooFarEast, an Athens-based company dedicated to promoting contemporary performing arts through international projects and tours. His collaborations include directors Mario Banushi and Prodromos Tsinikoris, and choreographers Patricia Apergi, Chara Kotsali, Christiana Kosiari, and Panos Malactos, with past collaborations including Romeo Castellucci, Jochen Sandig, Sasha Waltz, and Euripides Laskaridis. He holds a degree in Theatre Studies from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an MA in Events and Experience Management from Goldsmiths University of London. An alumnus of the Festival Academy and a member of the international network IETM, he co-founded OMAZ, a non-profit platform supporting artists working in Greece. In 2024, he participated in the Goethe Institut’s Global Cultural Relations Programme. In 2025, he is reviving Thessaloniki's historic experimental Amalia Theatre to support emerging artists.
