Trà Nguyễn is a theatre-maker working across text, movement, and space. Her work bridges contemporary performance, experimental writing, and embodied research on memory, language, and diasporic kinship, often operating at the intersection of artistic innovation and cultural infrastructure-building. A Fulbright scholar and MFA graduate in Dramatic Writing from Carnegie Mellon University, Trà is the founder of The Run – A Theater Project, an independent initiative building experimental theatre infrastructure in Vietnam through production, training, and critical discourse. She was formerly Acting Director at Sàn Art, the longest-running independent art space in Ho Chi Minh City, and continues to collaborate with international partners across Asia, Europe, and the U.S.
