Eduardo Bernal | Speaker Teatro Línea de Sombra Eduardo Bernal completed undergraduate studies in architecture at the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México (UAEMex), and earned the degree of Master of Visual Arts at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Dr. Bernal holds a Ph.D. in Social Science at the Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana - Xochimilco (UAEM-X ). He was the coordinator of the BA Program in Graphic Design, the director of the School of Arts and later full time research professor at UAEMex. Bernal coauthored the Master of Visual Studies and the Editorial Department of the Faculty of Arts with a remarkable publication which is the indexed journal “El Ornitorrinco Tachado, Cuadernos Universitarios de Investigación Artística” (The Crossed Out Platypus, College Books on Artistic Research). He has contributed to the Linea de Sombra Theater Company since 2004, where he has developed several discussion seminars on contemporary performance rehearsals; since then he has also been part of the Festival Internacional Transversales’s oversight committee. Eduardo Bernal has tutored projects such as “Sin curriculum” and “Prácticas de Vuelo” for young performing artists, has been a professor in the Graduates’ Course on Current Performing Arts and has coauthored Baños Roma.
