Visual artist, academic, and cultural manager specialized in the performing arts. He has worked both in public office and in independent initiatives, notably as: Director of Cultural Promotion at the Universidad de Guanajuato, Director General of the Cultural Institute of León, Guanajuato, and founding member of the contemporary art gallery Arte3. He was National Theater Coordinator for the National Institute of Fine Arts, Mexican representative and Intergovernmental Committee President of IBERESCENA, and Executive Secretary of the National Fund for Culture and the Arts. He has participated in international markets, exchanges and congresses for the performing arts in Latin America and Europe, as well as in the Americas Cultural Summit (IFACCA) in Canada. Since January, he’s acted as Theater Director at UNAM.

Se ha desempeñado tanto en cargos públicos como en iniciativas independientes, entre los que destacan: Director de Difusión Cultural de la Universidad de Guanajuato, Director General del Instituto Cultural de León, Guanajuato, y socio-fundador de la Galería de Arte Contemporáneo Arte3. Fue Coordinador Nacional de Teatro del Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes, representante de México y Presidente del Comité Intergubernamental de IBERESCENA, y Secretario Ejecutivo del Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes. Ha participado en mercados, intercambios y encuentros internacionales de artes escénicas en Latinoamérica y Europa, así como en la Cumbre Cultural de las Américas (IFACCA) en Canadá. Desde enero es Director de Teatro UNAM.
