Clodagh Chapman is a writer, theatre maker and filmmaker based in Manchester. Her work has played at venues including The Lowry, HOME, Hope Mill Theatre, Camden’s People Theatre and Shakespeare North Playhouse. In film, Clodagh’s debut short screened in competition at BAFTA-qualifying festivals worldwide, and was part of the British Council UK Shorts & New Talent Catalogue 2023. Clodagh has previously been selected for development schemes with the Young Vic, Rope Ladder Fiction and BFI NETWORK. She also facilitates and co-creates new work with young people, currently with The Lowry and the National Theatre of Great Britain. Alongside all this, Clodagh has an adjacent portfolio of work in film festivals and literary departments - currently as a Programme Advisor for Sheffield Doc/Fest, and a script reader for the Bush Theatre.
