Fellowship Participants Sigrid Aakvik Founder and owner // Creative Producer Sigrid Aakvik is a highly accomplished producer with nearly two decades of experience in international performing arts. Based in Denmark, Sigrid specializes in strategic development and audience engagement across local, national, and global platforms. She is the founder and CEO of Art & About, an agency dedicated to promoting Scandinavian stage artists, fostering innovation, and building sustainable international careers. As the Creative Producer for numerous acclaimed projects, including Wired Studio, Convoi Exceptionnel and Spreafico Eckly. Sigrid has a track record in nurturing emerging talent and fostering cross-border collaborations. In addition to her production work, Sigrid has curated and led festivals such as GenderHouse Queer Arts Festival, IETM Aarhus Plenary Meeting 2023 and ILT Festival in Aarhus. Sigrid is deeply committed to creative mentorship, working with various networks like Yggdrasil, IETM and PADA.
