Ana Corbett is a New Zealand-born actor and emerging creative producer of Te Moana-nui-a-Kiwa and Irish descent (Kolovai, ʻEua, Ahau, Fuaʻamotu-Tonga; Lakeba-Fiji; Sapapaliʻi-Sāmoa; Cora Chaitlín, Cork-Ireland). A graduate of Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School, she works across stage and screen, with recent credits including Shortland Street, UPU, and Totally Completely Fine, and is recognised as one of Aotearoa’s leading voice-over artists. Ana is Producer and Co-founder of the UPU Collective, the team behind the award-winning show UPU - a NZ Pacific-led organisation dedicated to expanding opportunities for Moana artists to create and present work that centres storytelling from our Sea of Islands, championing artists in holding full agency at every stage. UPU has toured to major festivals and venues including the Sydney Opera House, FITU Festival (Mexico), CINARS Biennale (Canada), and more. Ana is committed to work that reflects, challenges, and uplifts our communities, and to building global pathways for Pacific voices to thrive on their own terms.
