Priscilla Guy is an artist, curator and art researcher based in Marsoui, a village of 250 people located on the Gespe’gewa’gi unceded lands (Canada). Holder of a PhD in feminist screendance studies, she publishes articles in art magazines and participates in international conferences and in various academic publications (Oxford, Routledge, Udlap). As a curator, she initiated the RH Collection online to put forward Canadian works that border dance and the moving image. In 2019, she founded FURIES, a contemporary dance festival that takes place in Marsoui, where she also runs an art residency space and an annual feminist writing retreat. As an artist, her choreographic work is presented internationally. Very active in her community, Priscilla received several prizes for her artistic contributions, notably Prix Culture – LOJIQ (2012), Prix Étincelle – PDM (2022) and Prix du CALQ – Artist of the year (2024).
