Andrea Voets is artistic director of Resonate Productions. She makes musical journalism by combining in-depth, social journalism with lots of original music, as for example in While We Live(2020), listed as 'best classical music of 2020' by NRC, calling it a “fascinating new genre”.

Podcast Millennial History(2022) got shortlisted by the Association of International Broadcasters as best human interest audio and podcast-phenomenon Avery Trufelman named it as one of the six bestpodcasts of the year.

FOR REAL(2024) is a theatrical radio-show on what it means to matter, starting from the intellectual undermining of women. Each performance leads to one podcast-episode.

Andrea writes for de Groene Amsterdammer, is artist-in-residence at the Festival van Vlaanderen Mechelen and at O. in Rotterdam and received the selective Dutch FastForward- grant. From 2025 on, Resonate Productions is granted a four-year subsidy from the Dutch Fund for the Performing Arts.
