Konrad Suder Chatterjee

Communications Manager and Resource Developer | Ashtar for Theatre Productions and Training (ASHTAR Theatre)

Konrad Suder Chatterjee is an award-winning writer, performer, cultural producer, and social science researcher working across Palestine, Poland, and the UK. His filmed play What's Left Is Right won multiple international film and theatre festival awards following its premiere at the ACT II Theatre Festival in London. He is Founder of Open Mic Palestine, with 40+ events across Ramallah, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Haifa, Nablus and Kraków, and Founder of the Juthour Korzenie Festival in Poland, pairing Palestinian and Polish artists. He authored the Palestinian Circus's 2026–2030 strategic plan.

As Communications Manager and Resource Developer at ASHTAR Theatre in Ramallah, he has carried The Gaza Monologues into more than 70 countries through coordinated multilingual translation, launched Letters to Gaza as an international anthology and live reading series with HowlRound, produced Guernica, Gaza: Visions from the Centre of the Earth, and raised over $600,000.

A classicist and translator trained at the Jagiellonian University, he holds an MSc in Violence, Conflict and Development from SOAS, where he was Artist in Residence. He is developing new international co-productions and touring partnerships for Palestinian work.
