Alejandro de los Santos holds university degrees and has pursued higher education in Spain, France, and Portugal. He is a cultural manager, curator, and trainer. He is currently Head of International Relations at MASA – Abidjan African Performing Arts Market, Africa's leading performing arts event, where he also co-curates the international programme. He advises leading festivals across Africa, Latin America, and Europe, and works as a consultant for renowned cultural institutions. He also oversees international affairs for the International Djembé and Percussion Festival of Guinea. Previously, he was Head of African Relations at MAPAS – South Atlantic Performing Arts Market, in the Canary Islands, Spain. He has also collaborated with numerous festivals, including the Carthage Theatre Days in Tunisia, one of the most important theatre events in the Arab and African world.
