Adela Shin

Producer | Independent
Republic of Korea

Adela SHIN is a Seoul-based performing arts producer, cultural mediator, and festival maker. She served as Executive Producer of Seoul International Dance Festival (SIDance) and creates works in close collaboration with choreographers, musicians, and theater makers, while building sustained connections between Korean and Latin American performing arts by producing international tours, advising arts organizations, and facilitating artist exchanges. Her ongoing project is a platform for encounter connecting Korean performing arts with artists from Latin America and the broader Global South. Having studied Hispanic literature and worked at the Korean Embassy in Uruguay, she has long believed that looking beyond dominant international circuits could open genuinely new possibilities for Korean performing arts.
