Actor, screenwriter, director and author of several books. One of the most influential artists in the contemporary Polish theater
and film.
For
many years associated with the Stary Teatr theatre in Krakow, he served as long-term lecturer of the
Ludwik Solski Academy for the
Dramatic Arts and twice as its Rector. He
received numerous awards for his work in Poland and abroad. In 2011 he was granted the Commander’s
Cross with the Order of Polonia
Restituta for his outstanding contribution
to Polish culture and for his achievements of both
artistic and pedagogical nature.
Aktor,
scenarzysta, reżyser, autor kilku książek. Jeden z najbardziej wpływowych
artystów współczesnego teatru i filmu w Polsce.
Przez
wiele lat związany z Teatrem Starym w Krakowie, dwukrotny rektor PWST w
Krakowie i jej wieloletni wykładowca.
Wielokrotnie
nagradzany za swą pracę w kraju i na świecie, w 2011 otrzymał Krzyż komandorski
z Gwiazdą Orderu Odrodzenia Polski
za
wybitne zasługi dla kultury polskiej, za osiągnięcia w twórczości artystycznej
oraz działalności pedagogicznej. |
