Choreographer Chang Chung An has used mobile platforms to conduct dynamic experiments with dancers for years, exploring and creating the diversity of body language between dynamic and static. "In Factory" explores how young people in modern times face hesitation in pursuing their dreams, the fear and anxiety of survival in a society with a population, and the information explosion. Especially in the drastically changed environment after the global pandemic. To me, society is like a vortex for human beings. It may be a group, a system, or a pattern. And people living in this situation may be forced to rush in and find it difficult to exit, right??
The original version was premiered in 2017. However, Chung An and RIDT are working on renewing production, which focuses more on the relationship and interactions between the dancers, and the moving platforms and the dancers.
