Amber Onat Gregory is Co-Artistic Director of Frozen Light alongside Lucy Garland. Frozen Light creates exciting and original multi-sensory theatre for audiences with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and tours theatre venues and arts centres across the UK. Over the last 8 years Frozen Light has toured 4 theatre productions to over 70 venues, and in the last year produced two multi-sensory experience packs to connect with audiences remotely- exploring new art forms within film and poetry. Frozen Light has taken two productions to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and were programmed as part of the British Council Showcase in 2018. In 2019 Frozen Light travelled to Auckland New Zealand to work with Touch Compass Dance Company on a new production ‘Masina Returning Home’. In 2021 they will premiere Night Out in Nature, Frozen Light's first outdoor production, and also hope to premiere 'Fire Songs' in 2022, which works with community choirs in the locations it tours to. Amber has previously worked on theatre projects in Turkey, Australia and Dubai, and spoken at conferences in Ireland and Riyadh.
