Nina Jane Patel is the co-founder and Director of Arts, Culture and Wellness for Kabuni Ventures, an immersive technology company based in London U.K. Patel is also engaged in Ph.D. research with the University of Reading supported by the Wilkie Calvert Scholarship - “Unlocking the Potential of Embodied Immersive Experiences for the Future of Human Society: What impact do embodied XR experiences have on the measurable biometrics of individuals?”

Nina is also a Dance Artist, Researcher, Educator, Facilitator and Consultant. Nina is also a board registered Movement / Body Psychotherapist, Project Lead for Arts in Health Project at the NHS UK CNWL Trust, and recognized for her contributions in dance, creativity and wellbeing at the intersection of technology in both Canada and the UK.

Nina is a fellow with the Royal Society for the Arts (RSA), International Society for Performing Arts (ISPA), Association for Performing Arts Professionals (APAP) and the Canadian Cultural Leader Cohort 2019. Nina Patel is Executive Producer and host of Exponential Technologies and The Future of Dance, a podcast funded by the Canada Council for the Arts Digital Strategy Fund.
