Fellowship Participants![]() Swee Boon KuikFounding Artistic Director, Board Director & Principal Choreographer Kuik Swee Boon is the Founder and Artistic Director of The Human Expression (T.H.E) Dance Company and M1 CONTACT Contemporary Dance Festival in Singapore. He was also the first Asian principal male dancer in Spain’s Compañia Nacional de Danza from 2002 to 2007. In 2003, Swee Boon’s exceptional artistry led him to receive a nomination for the Benois De La Danse Award. Prior to founding T.H.E, he was also awarded the Young Artist Award from Singapore’s National Arts Council in 2007. His critically acclaimed works include Silence (2007) and As It Fades (2011), both recognised as amongst the best of shows in their respective years. His works have also toured to other prestigious international festivals in Asia and Europe.
