Fawad Khan graduated from the National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA), majoring in direction for stage, in the year 2008. Since then he has been consistently doing theatre, and, being passionate about all aspects of theatre, he has not only been directing but acting and writing as well. Some of the major productions he has been part of include WAITING FOR GODOT, directed by Zia Mohyeddin; BABA JALINOOS, an adaptation of Moiere's Tartuffe; KHOYA HUA AADMI by Kamal Ahmed Rizvi; CHUP a play that he wrote himself; BETAALI PREM KATHA a play written and directed by him.

What attracted him to DAASTAANGOI was his love for the simple art of storytelling and classical Urdu literature.

He is currently working at the National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA) as the Artistic Director of NAPA Repertory.
