Fellowship Participants![]() Oscar SsenyongaFounder and Team Leader A performing artist/choreographer, entrepreneur, author and dance graduate of Ecole de sables Senegal. Founder and artistic director of the Mambya Arts Foundation, Mambya Dance Company and Tuzinne festival, where human rights dance. With the festival, he has hosted over 900 performers that use arts distinction to speak about human rights and environmental activism. The festival has become a voice for artists that have unique abilities and artists from the LGBTIQ community. As part of the festival's vision, they have planted over 50,000 trees and aim to plant 5 million trees by 2026. He has dedicated his life career to defending human rights through the arts, which has brought controversy. He was arrested off and on stage and has had the festival raided by the Uganda police at the national theatre frequently.
